Cortisol levels are elevated at their most between 8am and 9am, which is actually the time of the day when we are more active and awaken. According to Miller drinking coffee at this time is useless and addictive.
On the other hand later, between 9.30am and 11.30am the levels of cortisol lower and we can solve the situation with a good cup of coffee. In addition drinking coffee is also good between 2pm and 5pm.
